Raise Money For Haiti Deaf Children

All proceeds from the event’s $20 ticket price will be sent to Haiti to help rebuild the facilities, particularly a Port-au-Prince school for deaf and blind children, The Institute of Montfort, said Sister Rosemarie McKenna.

“This is the only school for deaf children in the area,” said McKenna. “We’re their hope. They have no natural resources.”

Estimates for reconstructing the facility, which taught 600 children, started at $3 million, she said….read on
